In the 2022 gubernatorial race, our campaign focused on issues including women’s leadership, youth empowerment, community development, and inclusive governance in a region with strong cultural and traditional dynamics. The race highlighted strong female political leadership in Lamu, achieving a notable 15% share of the vote as the second runner-up in a competitive race dominated by long-established political figures.
